Importance of non digital media in junior primary education.
As every second counts, people learn and increase their knowledge. Before the 21st century most African country use non digital media in school for learning. Non digital media are physical tools and no use of computer or internet, they use these tools to convey information in the classroom to support learning. Non digital media could be chalkboard, flash card or posters.
POSTERS
Are colourful and attractive tools that enable visualisation in classroom to foster learning environment. They are pasted on wall or placed on stander so that everyone in the classroom can see.
According to Hubenthel. M., O'Brien. T.,& Tiber. J.(2011) said that the most use of posters experienced as a significant mean of communication within the society at large. It is very important to use posters in lower primary classroom to promote meaningful communication and effective learning. they support visual learning and great way of of brightening up the classroom. Pupil learn in fun way as they read from picture, picture and words linked togather in posters help learners to grasp and catch the information. colourful posters attract the attention of learners, this will encourage and increase collaborative thinking.
early success with school literacy often lead to future success(Hemming. B. & Mackenzie. N, 2014). Teachers with various learning needs must have the flexibility within his/her teaching style. Teachers should use posters that suite young learners, poster for lower primary learners. They should also use the pictures or image that will attract pupil. Teachers can also use posters with words and language that learners can capture and memorise fast .Posters should be pasted on wall or placed on wall so that all learners can see clearly. teachers should also remove old posters for them not to distract learner's mind and place on new poster to encourage learners to read.
It is important to evaluate environmental math in the classroom. Posters appear to be a successful for activities and learning within mathematics education. They also expose learners to visual form for expressing mathematical concept to learners. poster for mathematics also help learners to recognise their own competence and preserve in solving problem and achieve sustained progress in mathematics
Teacher and learners identified the visual nature of posters for learning(Manarin.K., 2016). The teacher should show and explain everything written on the posters. The teacher should ask learner what she or he explained from the poster to see if they have take and capture anything from what she or he explained. Learners should also ask the teacher where they do not understand.
CHALKBOARD
Chalkboard are work of surface consisting of lightweight used for writing , they can be green, black or brown, but the most used now is green chalkboard. they are inserted in front of the classroom on wall so that every learner can see.
This is the most teaching aid used in school. Bamne .S.N. & Banme. A.S.(2016) said that teaching on chalkboard engage the learners to become active and pay attention in classroom, when the teacher teach and write on chalkboard learners always concentrate and their passing rate is always higher as they get enough attention from the teacher. It also help learners to develop listening skills and writing skills. Chalkboard is easy to use as it is erasable.
The teacher can use the chalkboard in different ways. They can write on note, test and activities. The chalkboard should be cleaned always before the teacher use it. The teacher should stand sideway so that she or he can not cover what she is writing and she or he should write clear work to for learners to pay attention and be attracted. when the teacher is teaching and wring on chalkboard she or he should pause to let learners to take note and ask questions.
Meo .S.A.(2013) said that teaching is a mean of facilitating and support learning. it is not easy to learn number through audio. Chalkboard play an important role on solving mathematical problem. as calculation are done step by step, the teacher need to write everything on chalkboard so that learners can understand.
Both teacher and learners can use the chalkboard for writing. the teacher should explain everything that she wrote on the chalkboard. Getting learners to participate make the classroom enjoyable for both teacher and learners. Learners can write on chalkboard to express their knowledge. they can also use the chalkboard to match.

There is so much Internet information that is irrelevant in this blog. Conceptualise information and think in your on context. Like for Junior Primary phase what NEW methods will you come up with as a teacher to be in this regard and not what the Internet says about the media
